FYI this is just a plastic bag with a little ' isolation in it and a rubber band. It works well but now I know the secret and I'm going to DIY the rest of my outdoor taps . by RB
I do not live in cold regions excellent actually NW Florida but we had a bit ' of freezing and all my plants palm trees died but the cover faucet worked great. by R. Leverett

put these on our taps open in November and so far no problems with broken pipes. The oven can not keep up with the pace of this winter but the pipes are fine. by 1tigertom
